Primary Function
The Technical Order Librarian under the WSMR Test and Evaluation Analytical Services (TEAS) contract is responsible for maintaining the Central Technical Publications Library (CTPL) in a complete, accurate, and up-to-date condition in accordance with applicable Department of Defense, Army, and White Sands Missile Range regulations. This role ensures all personnel have timely access to the most current technical orders, manuals, specifications, and reference materials necessary to support safe, compliant, and effective test and evaluation operations. The Technical Order Librarian performs routine audits, processes updates and revisions, retires obsolete publications, and manages document control records to maintain compliance and accountability. Additionally, the position supports end users by tracking publication requests, assisting with research and retrieval, and coordinating with technical teams to ensure proper interpretation and application of official guidance. By safeguarding the integrity and accessibility of technical publications, the Librarian plays a critical role in ensuring mission readiness, technical accuracy, and operational safety across all TE&A activities at WSMR.

Working Environment
This is an on-site, fast-paced multi-tasking customer service-oriented environment requiring a high degree of efficient and effective performance. Adaptability regarding schedule and task changes is necessary to accommodate changing priorities. This position is normally 5 days a week M-F. However, weekends and after hour support may be required.
