- This is a substitute position dedicated to supporting the Sunday staff team, providing exceptional customer service within a one-desk service model
- Assists patrons with basic technology needs and navigating digital library resources and applications
- Assists patrons in locating, checking out library materials
- Assists patrons with information inquiries both in person and over the telephone
- Shelves library materials
- Assists in the placement and retrieval of library items for patron holds
Minimum Requirements:
High School diploma or G.E.D.
Preferences:
Experience with providing customer service and resolving customer issues
Experience using and troubleshooting standard office equipment, including computers, fax machines, and copiers
Experience using automated library systems (catalog software)
Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook
Special Requirements: The position may require travel to other branches within the system. A DMV check will be conducted for employees who drive while on County business.
Work Schedule:
This is a Sunday specific position that will be expected to work Sundays from 12-5p.m.
Starting Salary Range:
$21.14 – 26.65/ hourly
