Copy-catalogs and processes library materials for CCPS libraries
Assists with processing of Machine Access Readable Catalog (MARC) records to meet system standards for the online cataloging module
Assists other staff members in Central Library Services
Assists with basic book repairs
Routinely shares CLS information with individuals, as requested, both inter-office and within CCPS
Assists in the preparation and presentation of materials for use in seminars
Assists the Resource Acquisition Support Specialist in fulfillment and quality control of processing and invoicing of orders in the online selection and acquisition system
Provides support to school-based users of the Central Library System
Participates, as directed, in the implementation of special projects
Assists with the receipt and inventory of materials delivered to CTC@Hull for the Division of Technology Services,and communicates with personnel regarding the receipt and pickup of materials
Performs other duties as assigned

Must have the ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time; exhibit manual dexterity to use a telephone, to enter data into a computer terminal; to see and read a computer screen and printed material with or without vision aids; hear, understand speech and speak in audible tones so that others may understand clearly at normal levels indoors and on the telephone. Physical agility to bend, stoop, sit on the floor, climb stairs, walk, reach overhead and move up to 50 lbs unassisted. Must be able to handle print objects and turn pages of a book.
Work Environment:
The employee regularly works in the Central Library Services office. The employee may be exposed to mold and dust. The noise level in the work environment is quiet to moderate.This position requires the education, training, or experience sufficient to demonstrate the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
