Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Actively engage with relevant academic programs in the College of Science, College of Computing & Informatics, College of Health & Human Services, other assigned departments, and external groups. Teach research instruction sessions for assigned subjects and academic programs. Develop appropriate instructional and informational aids for students, faculty, and community patrons. Manage and develop collections for assigned subjects. Expend budget allocations for acquisition of library materials according to established deadlines. Provide research and reference support for assigned subjects to students, faculty, and community patrons. Provide advanced research support for students and faculty, including but not limited to documenting the impact of University research and assisting in systematic reviews. Conduct collection evaluations for all proposed new courses and curriculum changes in assigned departments. Engage in professional service and scholarly contributions; participate in committees and faculty governance in the library and on campus. Communicate effectively and positively with individuals of varied backgrounds. Additional Duties & Responsibilities ● Participate in the provision of in-person and virtual research services and of instruction for first-year undergraduate students. ● Perform other duties as assigned.
