Job Description: PART TIME LIBRARY ASSISTANT & GAME-MASTER
The Villa Rica Public Library seeks someone passionate about literacy, community, and customer service to join our team. This position has a dual focus: customer service at the front desk and in the stacks (70%) and developing programs and initiatives that gamify the library (30%). On the customer service side, the successful candidate will check out books, help patrons with computer questions, offer material recommendations & assistance, and problem-solve with patrons as their needs arise. On the programming side, we are looking for someone passionate about how games bring communities together, whether it is tabletop gaming, video games, scavenger hunts, escape rooms, or other fun and exciting programs you can imagine.
