Job duties include but are not limited to: staffing the youth services desk and providing reader’s advisory and reference for patrons of all ages, summer reading program support, craft preparation, passive program support and collection maintenance support.Approximate start date: May 18
Approximate end date: August 8
Approximately 15–20 hours per week for about 12 weeks.
Applicants must have flexible schedules (including some evenings and weekends) and experience working with children. Preference will be given to applicants with coursework or experience in library studies, education, and/or child development.
Starting Rate: $20.2692/hour, no benefits.
High school diploma or GED plus one additional year of relevant education or training; or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the following knowledge, ability, and skills.

WORK CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
This work is performed in an office environment but does involve lifting or carrying up to 50 pounds and pushing and pulling objects on wheels weighing 60-80 pounds. Flexible work hours with frequent evening and weekend hours.
