The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills; an outstanding work ethic, sense of teamwork; and flexibility to work with new programs and services. They will also be able to receive, internalize and grow from feedback, understand confidentiality, assume positive intent and react to stressful situations in a professional manner.
The scheduled work hours for part-time Library Technicians will vary and may be distributed over all hours that the Carlsbad Libraries are open, including evenings and weekends.Any combination equivalent to experience and education that could likely provide the required knowledge and abilities would qualify. Experience working in a public library is desired but not required.
