The Bishop Library at Lebanon Valley College seeks a part-time library technician. The library technician is responsible for overseeing the evening/weekend operations of the Bishop Library including assisting with the coordination, work and training of student workers. Additional duties include: coordinate and support circulation and reserve routines as well as provide direct service to library patrons; library safety and closing routines; perform interlibrary loan, document delivery, technical services, and other library-related tasks and projects as assigned. Scheduled hours are Mondays and Wednesdays 4 p.m. to midnight as well as every other Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday 4 p.m. to midnight, specific days and hours may vary; for approximately 15-20 hours per week; some holiday hours may be required. The part time, evening and weekend library technician works during the academic year (mid-August through mid-December and mid-January through mid-May) and hourly rate is $15.45.
