The History & Genealogy department is seeking a part-time Library Associate to provide support to the reference desk personnel by performing various clerical tasks to assist in the delivery of public service. The mission of the St. Louis County Library is to provide the resources and services to enrich individual minds, enhance lives and expand perspectives. SLCL is an award winning library system with branches throughout St. Louis County. We have transformed into a meaningful community resource with updated facilities and an array of programs and partnerships that serve over 860,000 patrons.   Salary: $18.35 an hour Hours: Wednesday: 4:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Thursday: 11:45 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. Saturday: 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. One Sunday per month   Essential Responsibilities: 1. Processes, sorts, and shelves Library material in proper sequence so that materials are available for customers and staff use.    2. Electronically processes materials to link items to bibliographic record so that material is available for customer and staff use.    3. Checks materials for compliance with the standards for circulation so that the materials are in good condition for customer use.    4.
