We are looking for a new team member to join us as we aspire to be the center of the Charleston community by connecting people through information, technology, education, and experiences.
We are seeking a self-motivated, tech-savvy, and team-oriented individual who would enjoy working in a customer-service and community-centered environment. This position will report to the Library Management Team and will support and staff the circulation, kids, and reference desks as needed.
This part-time position (14-16 hrs/wk) will have a schedule the will include mornings, evenings, and every other weekend. It includes paid leave and paid holidays. Previous technology and customer service experience needed. Previous public library experience and/or experience working with youth a plus. Pay starts at $15.00/hour, range $15.00-$15.25/hour. Position includes Paid Personal Leave accrual rate of 1 hour earned for every 40 hours worked. Position includes paid Holiday Leave.
