What You'll Be Doing:

• Bringing Stories to Life: Help prepare and run our popular weekly programs for families and children - get ready for smiles and engagement!
• Making a Difference: Assist with the planning and execution of other fun and informative library events.
• Keeping Things Organized: Process new books and materials, ensure our shelves are tidy and inviting, and help our collection shine.
• Providing Stellar Service: Be a friendly face at the front desk, helping patrons find what they need, answering questions, and guiding them through our resources (both print and digital!).
• Handling Transactions with Ease: Assist with check-ins and check-outs, process payments for fines, and keep accurate records.
• Sharing Your Ideas: Contribute your thoughts and suggestions to help us make our collection even better.

What You Need to Bring:

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• A positive attitude and a passion for helping people.
• Basic computer skills (familiarity with Microsoft Word and Publisher is a plus!).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills - you'll be talking to lots of people!
• Must be 16 years of age or older.
