Librarian / Media Specialist (full time):
Bow Memorial School is looking to hire a full time Library Media Specialist for the 2025 / 2026 school year. The Bow Memorial School serves grades 5-8 students and is located in south central NH.
We are looking for an energetic, friendly, organized, and flexible person to facilitate our busy library / media center. The Library Media Specialist plays a crucial role in providing support for a strong culture of reading in a dynamic learning environment that integrates information literacy, research, and technology skills. This position requires collaboration with educators to enhance student learning through effective use of library resources and technology.
The Library Media Specialist is responsible for providing direct instruction to each seventh and eighth grade Unified Arts Media Literacy class, daily. In addition, working with the library assistant and teachers to manage the library’s book collection including curating, ordering, and book displays. Also, managing the library budget, the circulation database, and its periodical and online subscriptions. Overseeing the library support personnel.
