Essential Job Functions

  • Curate content to ensure relevancy and consistency across platforms, while evaluating and enhancing its usability for various stakeholders
  • Provide expert consultation on the use of data to understand complex social problems and to consider their causes.
  • Establish and maintain classification systems, including metadata tagging, to support content discoverability
  • Conduct research to source new content that aligns with project needs
  • Oversee the lifecycle of digital assets, including their acquisition, maintenance, archival, and decommissioning and to ensure they are stored securely and in formats easily accessible by users
  • Collaborate with creative and production teams to ensure the timely and organized delivery of assets

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, sociology, public policy/administration, public health, or related social services or social sciences area
  • Proficiency in library management, content management systems, digital resources, and online tools
  • Five years professional work and lived experience, with least three years in child welfare or related area and with knowledge of state and territorial agencies, continuous quality improvement, courts, tribes, and organizations serving families and children involved with child welfare systems
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the Child and Family Services Reviews and public child welfare issues related to safety, permanency, and well-being
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance (i.e., Federal Government background check)

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit for prolonged periods at a desk or computer workstation. 
  • Regularly uses a computer, keyboard, and mouse. 
  • Normal or corrected vision to read documents, view computer screens, and perform tasks that require visual accuracy.  
  • Ability to hear and understand spoken information in person and over the phone. 
  • Minimal lifting and carrying may be required, typically light office supplies or documents.
  • Ability to move within the office environment to access equipment, files, and interact with colleagues.  
  • Ability to handle occasional stress related to deadlines, workloads, or challenging tasks.
