Provides in-depth and basic services and research consultation to faculty, students, and staff to help faculty, students, and staff feel more connected to the library.
Coordinates with the Dean of Libraries to develop strategies and actively engage with collection development in support of research and teaching needs of faculty and students of academic programs and library liaison to collaborate with academic units.
Intellectually work to extend library services, organizing programs, and events, actively engaging with research support, information literacy, faculty support, academic unitsβ curriculum, and collection development.
Will share nights and weekends.
Master's degree from an ALA-accredited program in Library and Information Science.
Experience in planning and/or providing information literacy instruction or other teaching experience.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to work well independently and as a team member.
Excellent communication, planning, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
Knowledge of information literacy, organization trends, practices, and issues.
Demonstrated abilities in research scholarly work and professional services.
Academic degree or academic subject background.
