Job Summary
Under the general supervision of the Head of Reference Services, the Research and Instruction Librarian provides research and instructional services including information literacy instruction, reference assistance, and liaison outreach to students and faculty at Tuskegee University. In keeping with the President’s commitment to Tuskegee University’s "Renaissance Era, this position develops learning-centered approaches to research and instruction, collaborates with teaching faculty to design library assignments and instructional materials, and works to identify needs and opportunities for outreach in assigned academic departments.

Preferred Qualifications
At least one year of teaching experience or professional-level library experience. Working knowledge of a wide variety of electronic reference databases and internet research tools. Knowledge of current and emerging trends in information instruction and educational/instructional technologies. Experience developing LibGuides, tutorials, and other digital learning objects.
