The University mission is to establish CSU Pueblo as the people’s university of the southwest United States by 2028. Our success will be measured by the resilience, agility, and problem-solving abilities of our diverse population, and the ways in which our graduates are able to navigate work in a rapidly changing world.
The Colorado State University Pueblo Library actively develops and empowers the campus community by integrating information literacy across the curriculum and providing collections, spaces, and services that facilitate learning, research, and innovation for a diverse and inclusive community. The Library actively collaborates with Information Technology Services (IT), tutoring services, and other units to provide integrated academic support for students.
Join our team as a Research and Instruction Librarian in the Education, Research, and Outreach Services (EROS) Division. This role is essential in supporting faculty research and teaching, enhancing student learning, and promoting student well-being. You will provide a mix of in-person and virtual research assistance, participate in targeted outreach activities, and assist with collection development. Collaborating with colleagues, you will design and implement user services for the library, including orientation and tours for new faculty and students, classroom instruction for freshmen and sophomores, and workshops, seminars, and presentations for the university community. As a member of the EROS Division, you will be engaged in the entire life cycle of research, teaching, learning, and outreach processes. You will work closely with faculty to embed information literacy into the curriculum, support course-specific needs, and provide consultations to faculty and students across various departments.
We are seeking a motivated librarian with a passion for education, research, and outreach. If you are ready to make a significant impact on faculty and student success, we encourage you to apply! Early career librarians and those who will complete their degrees by May 2025 are eligible to apply.
