The City of Irvine seeks multiple collaborative and customer service oriented individuals to take on the role of Part-time Library Assistant I in Irvine’s new public library system. The Library Assistant will provide a wide variety of paraprofessional and technical library assistance to the public under direct or general supervision. Please note that this position will require occasional evening and weekend shifts.
College coursework in library services, community services, or related field with four years of increasing responsible experience of advanced clerical, technical, or paraprofessional library services experience, or any combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skills, and abilities.
