Primary Purpose
The Part-Time Instruction/Outreach Librarian – Redmond Student Commons is responsible for the day-to-day reference and research needs of students, faculty, staff and community patrons on the COCC Redmond campus. This position requires collaboration with colleagues to publicize and promote the library services and instructional offerings. The Part-Time Instruction/Outreach Librarian – Redmond Student Commons will work closely with the Instruction and Outreach Faculty Librarian to deliver information literacy instructional sessions, meet with students needing research support, and fulfill circulation and course reserve duties.
Minimum Requirements
Master’s Degree in Library Science ( MLS or MLIS ) from an ALA accredited institution required or equivalent education in another field. At least one year of recent experience working in libraries or an academic setting in higher education.
