The Library Shelver reports to the Access Services Manager and is responsible for sorting and shelving library materials in a neat and orderly fashion. The position also assists library staff in other support tasks as assigned.
The schedule for this position is Tuesdays & Thursdays, 5pm-8:15pm; Fridays, 4pm-6:15pm; Saturdays, 8:45am-4:15pm (Friday and Saturday shifts are on a rotation).

Work Environment
Work is frequently performed in a library environment with a large volume of public interaction. Occasionally, work is performed in outdoor weather conditions. Employees will be exposed to dust. The noise level is usually quiet to moderate.
