In this role, you’ll help ensure library materials are properly shelved and organized, making them easily accessible to both patrons and staff. Library Pages also assist with directional guidance and contribute to special projects that support daily operations. About This Role:
As a Page, you will play an important role in ensuring library materials are organized, accessible, and presented in a welcoming environment for patrons. Key responsibilities include:
Minimum Requirements:
8th grade education and must be at least 16 years of age
Preferences:
Special Requirements: The position may require travel to other branches within the system. A DMV check will be conducted for employees who drive while on County business.
Work Schedule: This is a part-time, non-exempt, 20-hour a week position. Library hours of operation are Monday-Wednesday 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.; Thursday-Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Weekends are a regular part of schedule rotations. Scheduling flexibility is imperative and may vary depending upon the needs of the library.
Starting Salary Range: $20.00/hour
