Assists Library staff with the circulation of library materials received for the branch. Shelves materials returned by patrons. Reports to Branch Manager or Branch Librarian.

Shelves library materials
Keeps shelves neat, clean and in order
Answers directional questions
Performs other related duties as needed
Position Minimum Requirements
Junior High School education with knowledge of numerical progression and alphabetizing, or any equivalent combination which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities
Exemplary customer service skills
Excellent computer skills
Must be physically able to carry stacks of books, push and pull book trucks, and maintain considerable amounts of standing, walking, bending, reaching, pushing, and pulling
Must be able to pass required pre-employment physical and background check
Must be able to follow Horry County Government and Library policies and procedures
