The Transylvania County Library is seeking a dynamic, team-oriented Library Associate (Venue Coordinator) with a strong commitment to public service to specialize in venue management and local history services. This position offers a unique opportunity for an individual who enjoys working with the public, managing event logistics, and supporting the preservation and exploration of local history. The Venue Coordinator collaborates with library staff and community groups to facilitate use of the library’s community rooms and amphitheater, helping bring programs and events to life in these busy public spaces.
The successful candidate will possess strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills, and must be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
