Library Associate (Media Specialist)
Town of Halifax, MAThe Town of Halifax is now accepting applications for the position of Library Associate (Media Specialist). This position is responsible for creating. distributing, and managing the library’s marketing and media materials and services including the monthly newsletter, website, calendar, and social media pages. The Media Specialist is also responsible for assisting with the circulation of library materials.
This is a part-time non-union position at twenty (20) hours per week, including alternating Saturdays and up to one night per week, and is also eligible for benefits.
A bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) is required for this position. Experience with public library operations is preferred. As a condition of employment, the successful candidate must complete and pass a background check (CORI).
Pay range: $21.82 to $29.57 per hour (Grade 4).
