About the Role

Our Rifle Branch Library is seeking a passionate and service-oriented professional to join our talented team as a Library Assistant. In this role, you'll contribute to the community while fostering a positive, supportive, and fun work environment.

Library Assistants provide excellent customer service across all major areas of public library service, including:

  • Helping patrons at the information desk

  • Assisting with check-outs, holds, and returns

  • Guiding readers to just the right materials

  • Offering technology support for devices, computers, and printers

  • Connecting people with community resources

  • Creating engaging, eye-catching library displays

  • Supporting day-to-day branch operations

What We Offer

  • Part-time position (28 hours/week)

  • Pay: $20.31 - $24.69/hour (depending on library-related experience)

Qualifications

  • Required: High school diploma or equivalent, plus one (1) year of clerical or customer service experience with technology proficiency (Microsoft Suite, Apple products, web browsers)

  • Preferred: Associate's degree or higher

  • Highly Preferred: Bilingual Spanish/English skills
