Chaminade College Preparatory seeks a service oriented Library Assistant at our high school in West Hills, California.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assists in the day-to-day administration and maintenance of both the physical and virtual library spaces. Assists students and teachers in utilizing a wide array of print and digital resources, technology, and electronic equipment. Performs a variety of duties relative to the acquisition, processing, circulation, and maintenance of print materials and equipment. Helps create, update, and maintain content for the library website, digital displays, and contributes to library social media. Provides readers' advisory services. Coordinates and trains parent volunteers, provides input for library goals, assists in collection development, supports librarian in his/her duties, and oversees library in absence of librarian.
