Library Assistant

Qualifications

High School diploma/equivalency with one to two years’ experience in clerical or library-related work required, college degree preferred. Successful candidate will have excellent customer-service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with the public and other library staff. Candidate must exhibit attention to detail, be able to solve problems, and work independently. Excellent computer skills are a necessity. Familiarity with CW MARS Evergreen software and our library catalog a plus. Knowledge of popular adult and children’s literature and media preferred.

3 hours each week at minimum; varied depending on open shifts.
