Job Summary:
St. Philip & St. Augustine Catholic Academy is seeking a dynamic, faith-filled Library/Technology Teacher for the 2025–2026 school year. This dual role supports our students’ literacy and digital skills by managing the school library program and delivering age-appropriate technology instruction across grade levels.
Key Responsibilities:
Library Duties:

Promote a love of reading and lifelong learning through engaging library lessons.

Manage the school library collection, including acquisitions, cataloging, and inventory.

Collaborate with classroom teachers to support literacy and research initiatives.

Organize book fairs, reading challenges, and other literacy-centered events.
Technology Duties:

Delivery technology curriculum aligned with Catholic values and 21st-century skills.

Teach basic computer skills, digital citizenship, and responsible use of technology.

Assist faculty and students with technology integration and troubleshooting.

Maintain and oversee use of instructional technology resources (e.g., tablets, projectors, software tools).
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Education, Library Science, Instructional Technology, or a related field (Master’s preferred).

Valid Texas teaching certification (or eligibility to obtain one).

Practicing Catholic in good standing preferred.

Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to Catholic education.

Proficiency in educational technology tools (Google Workspace for Education, SMART boards, etc.).

Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
