The International School of San Francisco is a PK-12 independent school in San Francisco. Founded in 1962, the school is a multicultural, multilingual educational institution with over 1,100 students across an urban campus in the heart of the city.

Position Overview
The International School of San Francisco is seeking a dynamic and collaborative librarian to join our community. This position allows for a myriad of opportunities both personal and professional.
Reporting to the Assistant Head of School for Teaching and Learning, the librarian will collaborate with faculty, section teams, and leadership to foster deep intellectual engagement and joyful discovery, empowering students in Grade 3 to 8 to access, evaluate, and employ information in multiple languages. The librarian will play an integral part in creating our vibrant, multicultural, international learning community and fulfilling our mission of developing critical thinkers. Under the librarian’s guidance, the library will be an intellectual hub for students and faculty, providing windows and mirrors through the curation of a rich array of resources from a wide range of voices. This learning environment will support the development of the skill of perspective-taking and foster dialogue and discourse in keeping with our values of respect, integrity, inclusion, collaboration, and curiosity.

Salary Range for this position is $63,850 - $108,420 based on experience and qualifications
