Duties: Oversee and administer all aspects of Collection Services functions including materials selection, acquisitions, cataloging, processing, maintenance, sharing and distribution of library materials for the library system. Provide general oversight for the collection development process including budget, vendor relations, collection changes, weeding process and policies. Provide general oversight of ILS database maintenance and reports. Work with other city departments, library consortiums and library organizations relevant to Collection Services. Uphold and maintain philosophies of Intellectual Freedom, labeling, censorship and "Library Bill of Rights." Leads the Collection Management Team.

Qualifications: Master's degree in library science from an ALA accredited college or university and minimum four (4) years relevant experience with increased levels of responsibility of which two years supervisory experience is required. Must possess required knowledge, skills, abilities and experience and be able to explain and demonstrate that the essential functions of the job can be performed
