We are currently seeking an extremely organized, customer service-oriented Sample Librarian for our Norwalk, CT rug facility. This person will be responsible for the day-to-day warehouse operations of the rug sampling program. This position requires a combination of administrative and hands on tasks to keep the sample library organized and running smoothly. Here are some specifics about the role:

Job Responsibilities:
• Fulfills and ships out showroom sample requests
• Oversees sample returns from showrooms
• Conducts replenishment orders of samples for all collections including marketing materials
• Learning the ins and outs of our rug collections so your knowledge makes you indispensable to our salespeople
• Stocks and organizes samples and sample tools within the warehouse
• Ensures inventory control and maintenance of all samples, supplies, and equipment
• Liaising with showroom teams in our 16 worldwide locations
• Maintain stock shelving & rack system including new collection placement
• Receive, inspect, label, photograph and ship out rug strike offs
• Acting as a liaison among various departments including sales and product managers
• Assist with launching collection sampling as needed

Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1 to 2 years relevant work experience
• Experience in a warehouse setting or the interior design industry is preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent time management, interpersonal and organizational skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Must be able to comfortably lift 20 LB
• Ability to follow internal procedures and systems
• Ability to thrive in a multi-tasking environment with flexibility and resilience
