The Milton Town School District is seeking a full-time High School Library Assistant. To assist students and
faculty in the use of the library-media center. Maintain order in the center, including but not limited to the
selection of books, materials, and equipment. As well as creating a safe & welcoming environment that supports
the needs of our school community.
Qualifications: Must be organized and detail-oriented, have good communication and interpersonal skills, and demonstrate the ability to work effectively with people. Minimum of high school education; college graduate preferred. School library experience preferred, Computer and interpersonal skills essential. Demonstrated ability to work effectively with students ranging in age from 4 to 18 years old. Must be available to work until 4:00 PM on school days.
Benefits include health insurance, dental, and life insurance. The pay range is $ 20.80 to $23.80 or more. The rate is based on experience and education level.
