Job Description
Texas State University Libraries is seeking an Electronic Resources Management Librarian. This position provides leadership and expertise in managing all aspects of library electronic resources licensing. The person in this position will play a pivotal role in University Librariesβ efforts to meet current and emerging information needs and provide access to a broad and wide collection of scholarly content. The Electronic Resources Management Librarian will collaborate with colleagues across University Libraries and the Texas State University campuses to support the University Libraries licensed electronic resources program. The Electronic Resources Management Librarian will be the primary liaison with publishers, content providers, and consortia to support electronic resources licensing and management for Texas State University Libraries.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience leading a team of professionals in electronic resource licensing and management. Experience with FOLIO and EBSCOhost or similar library and resource management systems. Experience with budgeting for acquisitions, including experience with SAP or a similar accounts management system.
