Basic Qualifications






Requires a Bachelor’s or Technology degree in Engineering or a related specialized area/field, or equivalent (4 years job-related experience). Requires an additional 2+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree.

Responsibilities for this Position






Role and Position Objectives:

 

As an ECAD Librarian and PCB Designer for Undersea Systems, you’ll support CCA development for electronics used in high reliability undersea communication systems.

We encourage you to apply if you have any of these skills or experiences:   

 

  • A minimum of two years’ experience using Mentor Graphics Xpedition.
  • Experience with library management practices.
  • Experience with ECAD/PCB layout design processes.

 

What sets you apart:  

  • Experience with library management practices including Xpedition parts request system, Footprint Expert Enterprise 23, 3D model creation using Solidworks NX or CREO.
  • Knowledge of one or more PCB design tools from the Mentor Graphics suite (xDM, Xpedition. DXdatabook, BoardStation, Hyperlynx).
  • Circuit design and hands on prototyping experience.
  • Basic knowledge of IPC and manufacturing standards.
  • In depth knowledge of CCA fabrication techniques.  Ability to communicate with suppliers when asked to provide clarification on design documentation packages.
  • Experience with schematic capture in Xpedition is valuable.
  • Documentation capture including (bill of material parts lists, ODB++ digital fabrication packages, 3D model generation)

Combined Salary Range






USD $88,400.00 - USD $93,000.00 /Yr.
