WHAT WE'RE DOINGThe Combat System Engineering Development Site (CSEDS) is a Navy owned facility that provides a test environment for AEGIS Weapon System and Combat System development.
WHO WE AREThis position, which is an entry level position, entails working as a Librarian for the (CSEDS) Data Libraries / Strong Room at the Moorestown New Jersey facility. It involves assisting with the technical and procedural responsibilities of the Data Control work center which operates in a 24/5 (modified) environment providing services to local and remote business areas.
THE WORKDay-to-day tasking and responsibilities will include:
• Creating and tracking various forms of classified (and unclassified) media to include (but not limited to) Computer Hard Drives, CD’s, Optical Disks, 9 track magnetic tapes, 4mm cassettes and 8mm Advanced Intelligence Tape (AIT) magnetic cassettes.
• Marking classified hardware and printer output in accordance with established DoD requirements.
• Tracking accountable material utilizing the Security Information Management System (SIMS) and Media Tracker inventory control program.
• Maintaining close interaction with Quality Assurance and Configuration Management personnel, system users and members of various work-center operating staffs.
• Generating, updating and maintaining various reports and metric data using established inventory control procedures/programs
• Preparing various forms of media for shipment, transfer or destruction.
• Occasionally filling in as courier.
• Performing other related tasks as assigned by management.
Note: Selected individual may also be assigned to a similar work-center in the same MS2 business area at the CSEDS facility. Tasking and responsibilities in both locations are similar.

Ability to work remotelyOnsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedule InformationLockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Security Clearance InformationThis position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Pay Rate:The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, Washington or Washington DC is $35,900 - $68,900. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
