Minimum Qualifications
Masterβs degree in Library and Information Science or related area from an ALA accredited program Minimum 3 years of experience in a library setting Experience working with multiple facets of an Integrated Library System ( ILS ), OCLC , MARC and current library technologies Experience in supervising, training, and/or coordinating the work of others Experience providing reference and instructional services Experience using existing and emerging technologies to provide and enhance library and information services Experience in policy development, planning, and budgeting Working knowledge of basic desktop applications, technology hardware and related peripherals Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, and the ability to facilitate communication within the library, with faculty and staff, and with external stakeholders Commitment to promoting diversity, enhancing student success, and advancing customer service Experience in delivering public service in an academic library
Preferred Qualifications
Doctorate degree in Library and Information Science from an ALA accredited program 5 years of experience in an academic library, of which at least five years have been in a position of administration Experience working with an Enterprise Resource Planning ( ERP ) system, e.g. Jenzabar, and a Course Management System ( CMS ), e.g. Blackboard Experience with library data collection and analysis procedures Ability to maintain effective and collegial working relations with library staff, students, faculty, and administration Desire to foster a culture of reading and lifelong learning

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, but may be loud in areas of equipment operation. Work Schedule
Primarily Monday through Friday, 8:00am - 5:00 pm, with at least one evening shift likely Monday through Thursday.
