Performs work in all aspects of the library, including support at the Circulation Desk, preparing materials for circulation, shelving and shelf-reading, providing assistance to library patrons, and other duties as assigned. Work is performed under the supervision of the Circulation Manager. This position will be scheduled for 12-20 hours per week. Every other Saturday and occasional evening work is required. Although the position is based at the Chatham Community Library, this role may be asked to work at other locations on an as-needed basis.
*NOTE* This position is not time-limited.
High school diploma or GED and minimal experience in library or public service work, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
