Essential Functions

  • Organizing music and keeping the library clean and filed.
  • Stamping and entering new music into the choral library Excel file.
  • Assigning and distributing choral music to ensemble members (academic year only).
  • Collecting choral music from ensemble members when music is completed (academic year only).
  • Accounting for missing music and notifying members and directors of missing pieces (academic year only).
  • Lending music and accounting for music borrowed and returned.
  • Informing choral faculty of library needs or concerns.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Organizational skills
  • Timeliness with respect to deadlines
  • Even-tempered when dealing with large quantities of music and personnel
  • Basic computer skills including rudimentary knowledge of Excel and Outlook
  • Ability to communicate with directors on needs of ensembles and deadlines
