12-Month, Tenure-Track Assistant/Associate Librarian (Collections Management Librarian)
Grand Valley State University (GVSU) Libraries are seeking candidates for a Collections Management Librarian, a tenure-track faculty position. The position is for an inclusive, user-focused, and collegial librarian. The Collection Management Librarian will report to the Head of Collections and Digital Scholarship and be located on the main campus in Allendale.
The Collection Management Librarian, in collaboration with the Head of Collections and Digital Scholarship, will be responsible for making informed purchase and renewal decisions on databases and journals, conducting analyses of subscription resources, and maintaining strong relationships with our resource vendors. This role is crucial in managing both our physical and virtual collections to effectively curate materials that support our institution’s curriculum. They demonstrate a commitment to student success, an understanding of the liberal education mission, and work collaboratively and independently within a dynamic team-based organization.

Salary range: $55,000-$65,000; commensurate with experience
